Cookie English
Cookie has won 14 Women’s Club Championships at The Country Club of Indianapolis, 3 Indianapolis Women’s City Championships, and the 1973 Indiana Women’s State Amateur Championship. She completed the career “Grand Slam: in 2000, when she captured the IWGA Mid-Amateur Championship. She is a long-time supporter of junior golf in Indiana. She has served as a USGA Official for the United States Girls Junior Championship and held clinics for women’s and girl’s groups. In 1991, Cookie was elected to the Indiana Golf Hall of Fame and in 1999 received the Indiana Golf Association’s Clifford Wagoner Award.
Brett Widner
Over the course of his career, Brett has won 12 smaller one-day tournaments across Indiana. Starting in 2013, he won the State Mid-Amateurs Tournament and then again in 2014 and 2018. Brett has played with the USGA State Team representing Indiana not once, but twice, in 2014 and 2016. He was then the runner-up in the 2017 Indiana State Amateur. Most recently he participated in the 2021 and 2022 US Am, and was recognized as the Indiana State Amateur Player of the Year.
Patrick Rodgers
A member of golf’s esteemed “Class of 2011”, and was heralded as perhaps the best college golfer of his generation. Patrick Rodgers turned professional after his junior year at Stanford University. He equaled the all-time Stanford record for college wins held by Tiger Woods with eleven victories. Further, he broke Tiger’s all-time scoring average, finishing with a career scoring average of 70.32, besting Tiger’s previous record of 70.96. He set a PGA TOUR record for the best closing 36 hole total, following rounds of 61 & 62 (17-under) at the 2018 RSM Classic where he lost in a thrilling playoff. Patrick recorded seven top-25 finishes during the 2017-18 season, including a T-7 finish at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and a T-8 finish at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.
During his 2016-17 campaign, Patrick finished in the top-10 three times and narrowly missed his first PGA TOUR victory at the John Deere Classic – ultimately finishing 2nd. As an amateur. Patrick held the #1 spot in the World Amateur Golf Rankings for 16 weeks.
